From the planet to a single room

Your space sorted, your reality understood.

Aureality is the Globe, a live map of the whole Earth, and an app for your home. The aim: film your home with a phone, sort your things (keep, sell, donate) and place the house on the Globe. Both are in private alpha for now, by invitation.

The shots are from the Globe; the layers in the film are only borders, rivers, regions and heritage sites.

Why Aureality

The principles we build by.

Aureality connects every scale of the built world. These four principles apply to everything we make, including what is not finished yet.

Private by default

Captures of your home belong to you. Collect only what a feature needs, ask before saving, no ads.

Open standards

An open data format and export to open formats, so nobody can lock your data in, not even us.

Open data, credited

We build the maps on free and open sources and say where the data comes from.

AI you can check

AI suggests, you check. Suggestions are labelled, and anything AI adds in bulk you can correct.

How it works

From footage to a sorted home.

This is how the app is meant to work. It is in private alpha, the steps are still changing and not everything is finished. The aim is for an ordinary phone to be enough.

  2. 02 · MODELGet a rough 3D previewThe footage becomes a rough preview, not a measured model. Accurate rooms come from an iPhone scan with LiDAR; we are testing Android. AI suggests names for the objects you mark, and you confirm them.
  3. 03 · SORTDecide what happens to each thingKeep, sell, donate, repair or recycle. The decision stays with the object.
  4. 04 · CONTINUETake it furtherSave your house to an open file that you can take with you. The aim is to place it on the Globe too.

Five zones, one world.

Each site is one place in the same world. The label tells you what to expect: “Open” is for everyone, “Alpha, by invitation” shows a member sign-in when you click, and “Soon” is not running yet.
